The McDonalds ads used in the USA and Japan are similar and different in many ways. The McDonalds ads used in Japan have nature and a smart guy who seems to know what he’s doing. They are using nature like Mt. Fuji, highest mountain in Japan, to tell the customer that their food is the one with the highest quality and a smart choice. What McDonald’s ads in both the USA and Japan are they give coupons and give them offers to do this and get something for free. They also have examples or pictures of some of the types of food they offer. So there are many differences like the way they use nature and many similarities like the examples of how the food looks and offers. Japan demonstrates the culture of their country by putting nature pictures in the background with a smart guy saying, “Nippon All Stars” with a heart around it sho mingle loves that. They also give descriptions of how it is and all that information to make want to buy the food, which we also use in the USA. In addition, on top of the ad, ther is the big M for McDonalds and underneath it says “Im lovin it.”
In the two McDonalds ads, the American shows how Americans are so greedy for their food. The ad illustrates three large sandwiches. The ad gives you a free coupon for a free chicken sandwich. I believe that is a way to lure people to buy more food. With the economy, they want all people to spend their money on their menu. This shows the perseverance, McDonalds wants people to spend money. In the Japanese ad, they show how the Japanese enforce the athletes to eat at McDonalds. They also show their pride by putting Mt. Fuji in the background. This shows how they respect themselves and each other.
Similar: Both of the ads have meanings to them. The Japanese and the Americans have one thing to infer in each of their ads. One is that they both have high quality in their meat. In the Japanese ad they show Mt. Fuji which is the highest mountain in Japan. This symbolizes "high quality". In the American ad, the meat is the main symbol, you can see the big juicy meat. Both ads are trying to make you buy the food. They make you feel very hungry and makes you smart. They also both use the arches in the ads.
Different: The American ad and the Japan ad want to infer two different things. America is all about size and taste. Japan is more spiritual they include Mt. Fuji the tallest mountain in Japan. Mt. Fuji is a part of theri culture and symbolizes nature and health. That’s really important to the Japanese. Food is important to Americans.
McDonalds in USA and Japan ads are similar in many ways. In the American ad you can see the McDonalds sandwich, the size and details. It says that when you sign up on their website you can get a free Big Mac. It also says that the burgers are 100% Angus beef. With the quarter pound you can get heart problems become over weight and have cholesterol. McDonalds in Japan have many different pictures symbolizing interesting Nippon all stars. The mountain is recognized in Japan as the tallest mountain. The mountain shows the high quality of Japan’s McDonalds sandwich. McDonald’s sandwich is small in portion. Rather in America, people are so greedy, that they want more of everything. The man in the picture is smiling and saying something that has to do with McDonalds. He is either the manager or someone who organizes the McDonalds business. The heart says Nippon all stars means they love having small portions of everything. In the corner of the ad is their trademark arches.
Both Japan's and America's advertisement have many similarities and differences. They both have the arches and they have the catch phrase “I’m lovin’ it” The differences are that the USA ads have the big appetizing sandwiches. The ad also offers special deals, and they advertise their website. The Japanese ad has a picture of an employee, who looks educated and approachable. The ad also demonstrates Mt. Fuji, which represents nature and the goodness of earth. It also has a heart saying Nippon all stars. The USA ad just wants your money which is why they advertise the special deals. The Japanese ad wants to tell people that they serve high quality fast food and represents theri culturre. That’s why they have Mt. Fuji in the background. Those are the similarities and differences between both the Japanese ads and the USA ad.
How these ads are similar and different. The American ad just has a picture of the three burgers, they are just showing off their food. They put specials such as where you go to the website to receive a Big Mac and they also infer that their meat is grade A. This shows how greedy Americans are. They only care for big juicy burgers, the bigger they are they better it is.
The Japanese ad shows a smart looking guy saying or showing that he wants to go eat at McDonalds. The ad also shows Mt. Fuji which could also mean relaxation and the Nippon all stars eat there.
These two ads are similar because they both show the golden arches. The cultures from Japan and America may be different but they still show a way to persuade people to eat at their restaurant. We both have a way to bring customers in, we have specials such as the buy on get on free and Japan says that the Nippon all stars eat there.
The Japanese ad is different from the American ad for McDonalds. For example, the Japanese ad has the mountain of Fuji. This is the biggest mountain in Japan. It has a very smart guy and a heart next to it saying Nippon all-stars. This is telling you that McDonalds is the best food you can eat. Also it has the sign of McDonalds. There ads are similar in several ways. For example, they both have the sign from McDonalds and under it, it says, “I’m lovin’ it.” It convinces us to eat the food. It makes us think it’s the best food. The American ad is different from the Japanese in the ad it has the burgers. It says that if we eat more than one hamburger we get a free premium chicken sandwich. It says that they will give you a free Big Mac when you visit their website and sign up. There’s no doubt people will register just for a free sandwich.
The Japanese ad shows more of their symbols and culture. The ad illustrates Mount Fuji, and it’s the highest mountain in Japan. That could mean that the food is the best quality. They don’t need to show the food or say McDonalds because in the ad the symbol is there already. On the ad it also says Nippon All-Stars, this could mean that if you eat there you will active and fit like an athlete. In the American ad it shows the sandwiches and has a description. American people are greedy and they want a lot of food. There are no symbols like Japan has. There are no encouraging words like Japan’s ad.
What these two have in common is that the two ads demonstrate that everyone in the world enjoys going to McDonalds to eat. Both ads are trying to persuade you to buy their food. Both ads are appealing and enticing. They both use pictures in theri ads, but the photos are very different.
What the Japanese ad shows is the delighted face of a customer who eats at McDonalds. he is smiling so you can infer that he just finished eating a savory burger or crunchy fries, or a healthy crisp salad. The ad also shows the mountain right next to him, but this mountain is the highest point in Japan. The mountain is a symbol of their country. It represents a feeling of satisfaction, just like the grin on the man's face.
In the Japanese ad mountain Fuji is being shown. This ad is demonstrating one of the greatest attractions of Japan. The mountain symbolizes their culture. Climbing a mountain symbolizes success. In this ad, I can infer that the man is successful. He looks intelligent and appears to be approachable since he is smiling. He is well dressed, which means he has money.
The advertisement of the McDonalds in the US demonstrates what Americans value. In this ad you see three large sandwiches. This demonstrates how Americans love to eat big meals. Their philosophy is "the bigger the better.” That’s why the meals are super sized. There is nothing else in the ad but the sandwiches, compared to the man and the mountain in Japan.
The similarities in both ads are the large golden M which represents McDonalds. Everyone in the world knows this symbol. Everyone in the worl loves Mc Donalds. The differnce is what you eat, and who you are is what you eat.
McDonalds is known all over the world from Japan to America. In Japan we know that they eat healthy meals. Believe it or not Japan has fast food places. The Japanese ad has symbols of their country. Mountain Fuji is the tallest mountain in Japan. The Japanese McDonalds is using the mountain to show that since it is the highest point in Japan, McDonalds uses the highest quality ingredients in their sandwiches. Also, it might mean that if you eat McDonalds, you will be smart as the guy in the ad. My interpretation to this ad is that if you eat McDonalds you will be strong to climb up to mountain Fuji.
McDonalds is American, which means that we eat more McDonalds than any other place in the world. As you might know, we Americans eat big portions of food, we are also very unhealthy. We want everything our way. So, in the USA ad you see the Big Mac. Also, they put that 100% Angus meat and 1/3 pound. This means that it is 100% and 1/3 pound it is new sandwich. Another, thing you might not know is that we Americans look every where to save and in this ad there is a coupon for a free premium chicken sandwich which attracts us Americans to buy the “angus third ponder”
McDonalds in both countries, Japan and America is very famous. McDonalds is actually in most countries. Every McDonalds has hamburgers that are very delicious but not so healthy. McDonald’s hamburgers are not healthy because it contains a lot of fat, cholesterol, and calories. Any burgers from any restaurant contains fat.
Both of the McDonald’s ads are different in several ways. They are both advertising McDonalds and are both enticing to the public. Both ads are convincing; they both attract customers. Yet they tend to advertise the message differently. Both have a different language. In the American ad, you can see three very large hamburgers. There is also a coupon which lures cutomers to eat more. So both the picture and the coupon show how much food American eat. We love to eat huge portions. In the Japanese ad, a photo of Mt. Fuji is illustrated. This mountain represents nature and health. They probably eat burgers, which are unhealthy, but their portions are smaller, which makes it a little more healthier.
Both ads demonstrate that people in both countries love eating McDonalds. In America, they give free sandwiches, the Premium chicken and Big Mac, just for registering your email. Most people will register online just to get the free meal. This shows how much Americans eat. The ad also illustrates the big juicy burgers. The Japanese ad has a mountain in the background and it’s called Fuji. This represents the high quality meat. they also have a photo of a man who is smiling. The man looks successful. In America they have a new 100% Angus beef. In Japan they give you a Big Mac for free if you visit LiMcDonalds.com ad register.
The difference between Japanese McDonalds and United States McDonalds is the Japanese food might be different. The Japanese people might not have the same food as ours. In Japan they don’t show pictures of food and they show how Japan loves McDonalds. Also, there are national parks featured in the ads. In the United States, they show pictures of the food and how much meat there is in the burger. There are no symbols in the United States. The similarities are that McDonalds have their slogan “I’m lovin’ it” and the golden arches. This demonstrates the culture of each country because this is what people eat in the United States and Japan. They demonstrate how all the people from both countries love the burgers and French fries? These also connect to both countries because they like McDonalds.
In the USA, the McDonalds ads shows only McDonalds burgers and in Japan it shows a picture of Mt. Fuji which is the tallest mountain in Japan. Everything was sponsored by McDonalds. They demonstrate the culture of each country. Japan's ads include more symbols. Both Japan and America make ads and TV commercials so McDonalds can attract lots of people to come and visit McDonalds and come eat there. The Japanese ads demonstrate attractions and people from Japan as opposed to the US ad.
Zahida In Japan and America there are many fast food restaurants. However the most common fast food restaurant is Mc Donald’s. Japan and America share many similarities and differences between the two countries.
In America Mc Donald’s is everywhere. In America Mc Donald’s is known for super sizing meals. They have a super sized soda, Big Mac’s that are huge and much more. In their ads they show many offers and deals as to why Mc Donald’s is the best and why you should come there everyday. At Mc Donald’s they now offer an Angus third pounder. With a great offer by getting a free Big Mac as long as you register at www.limcdonalds.com. Many people won’t get healthy by eating such unhealthy food.
However, in Japan their ads don't have any offers or deals, but in Japanese it says come and eat here. In Japan, the restaraunt is not known for super sizing meals. The Japanese citizens are not known for eating large portions of burgers like the Americans do. There are many similarities and differnces in America and Japan.
The Mc Donald’s ads that are used in Japan are very different from the ones we use here in America. In Japan, the ads include Mount Fuji, a man smiling who is dressed smart, and a sign saying Nippon All Star. They have included Mount Fuji because it symbolizes their culture, and maybe a man with glasses showing that Mc Donald’s is the smart choice in Japan. On the other hand, the ad for Mc Donald’s in America is way different. It shows 3 different types of burgers, and details captions saying what offers you could get and how much it weighs. For the U.S. its bigger sandwiches are better for us since we want more. Everyone is used to getting moreand high quality items and not knowing what it would do to us.
Japan's ad is different in America because in the background they have Mount Fuji and they have a burger to change people’s minds. And make them want to go there. The ad says Nippon all star, which demonstrates that they are all in it together. This ad also talks about the quality because Mount Fuji is the highest point in Japan. This relates to Mc Donald’s because it’s probably saying that Mc Donald’s is the best quality you can have.
The American ad is different from Japan's ad because they actually have 3 types of burgers. In the ad it shows the new burger, saying it is 100% Angus. It also says that its 1/3 of the pound. That is going to get Americans want the most out of everything. This ad also shows a coupon giving a free premium chicken sandwich. This ad shows if you go buy it you will get the most out of it because its 1/3 pound and it's coupon for a free burger.
The similarities that the Japanese and America ads have in common are that they both tell that they’re the best. They both have something in the background that makes it the best and support it by saying you will be satisfied like a star.
The differences they have are that the American ad says buy one get one free. The Japanese ad has Mount Fuji and they say Nippon all stars so they’re actually telling you if you eat this you’re also an All Star. The American ad says a free premium chicken sandwich, so it says you can get a coupon and get a free premium sandwich.
In the Japanese ad they aren’t really showing the burgers like the American ad. I think that the Japanese ad is trying to say that if you eat Mc Donald’s you will be a Nippon all star. Mount Fuji is in the Japanese ad. Mount Fuji is the highest point in Japan.
The American ad wants you to go buy the food that they’re offering. They don’t care about anything else because they are greedy. There is also a coupon in the ad. This means that they want you to go. In the ad the food seems great but when you actually go there its taste gross to you.
I think that the same two ads want is for you to go buy food. They only want your money. That is the American and Japanese ad shown.
The Japanese ad is simple it shows Mount Fuji expressing culture and saying that they’re people are smart with how much they eat when they put the heart and the smart man. The American ad shows only 3 types of different burgers and showing a new 100% beef and showing how delicious it is. It shows how they don’t care the wellbeing of the people. America is greedy and they know how to lure people and feed them the grease.
The Mc Donald’s ads used in the United States and Japan have several similarities. To begin, both advertisements infer that we will not be disappointed after a meal at Mc Donald’s. From what they display, a message is sent out that Mc Donald’s food is delicious and leads you to happiness.
However, there are many differences the advertisement from Japan displays Mount Fuji, Japans most famous natural landmark. This contrasts from the American advertisement which displays food in large portions which appeals to the residents of the United States. This shows that the Americans are more interested in food than in the features which highlight their own country. We crave more and more, giving us a reputation as greedy and disrespectful people while the Japanese have more respect for their beauty simple, yet majestic nation.
In both countries the advertisements are trying to persuade people to eat at Mc Donald's. They are both appealing to the public through their illustrations, even though their illustrations are very different. They both have the McDonald's sign. Although the ads lure people to eat this food, they differ in many ways. The American ad illustrates the supersized large burgers. They also offer a coupon for a burger. This demonstrates how American love to eat large portions, the bigger the better. The Japanese ads differ by the illustrations. Their ads represents Japanese culture through Mt. Fuji and the educated man. I can infer that the man looks educated by his appearance the way he is dressed, and his smile makes him appear approachable. The mountain represents nature and health. The mountain is the highest mountain in Japan so it represnts the high quality of the food. By the appearance of these two ads, I would like to eat at the Mc Donald's at Japan.
They are many differences and similarities in the Japanese and American ads. For example, in the American ad you see two Angus third pounder and a coupon for a free premium chicken sandwich. What is also included in the coupon is that you have to first buy another grilled or crispy chicken sandwich so you still have to pay for one sandwich. This strategy lures people to eat more. In the Japanese ad you see a man saying something in Japanese with Mount Fuji in the background. In japan they don’t show you the hamburger like the American ad does. They're trying to convince you to try to come to Mc Donald's.
The advertisements demonstrate the culture of each country. They both have McDonalds in their country. They both are persuading the public to buy food from Mc Donald's through their powerful images and words. They are different because the Americans advertise 100% Angus beef, and illustrates the big juicy burger. You can also get a Big Mac when you visit LiMcDonalds.com and register. The US uses other techniques to lure people as they know Americans love to eat, and the more they eat the happier they will be. USA is different because we worry about how the food looks. I can infer that Americans are greedy, while Japan is committed to their culture.

ReplyDeleteThe similarities that the Japanese and America ads have in common are that they both tell that they’re the best. They both have something in the background that makes it the best and support it by saying you will be satisfied like a star.

ReplyDeleteThe Japanese ad is simple it shows Mount Fuji expressing culture and saying that they’re people are smart with how much they eat when they put the heart and the smart man. The American ad shows only 3 types of different burgers and showing a new 100% beef and showing how delicious it is. It shows how they don’t care the wellbeing of the people. America is greedy and they know how to lure people and feed them the grease.

ReplyDeleteThe Mc Donald’s ads used in the United States and Japan have several similarities.

ReplyDeleteIn both countries the advertisements are trying to persuade people to eat at Mc Donald's.

ReplyDeleteThey are many differences and similarities in the Japanese and American ads.

ReplyDeleteThe advertisements demonstrate the culture of each country.
