Some ways that the Japanese gifts of cherry blossom have strengthened a friendship with other countries is that it shows a sign of tranquility and love between each other. Some symbolic gifts that we can give to Japan are flowers that are native to us, for example a plant, the violet which is a sign of soothingness, and calmness. This shows that we want to get along with the other countries. Something else that can show that we want to get along with Japan is some how celebrating something that they celebrate, for example, White Day, which is similar to Valentine's day. On this day, small gifts of appreciation are given. We can give respect to any country and not be afraid of doing it. To me showing respect about other countries is a good sign that in the future we will learn how to respect people from other countries.

Showing some similarities between two countries is nothing to be shy or scared of doing. That just shows that you are not afraid of meeting new people and getting along with them. I am able to do anything to have a greater future for elders and younger. Because if I was someone important in this world I would learn how to share countries similarities and would most diffidently be proud of it because a small person like me can come to change a whole country by working together as a Nation I come to change the respect that people have for each other.

There are many ways that the Japanese gifts of cherry trees to Washington, D.C. and Belleville, NJ strengthened our friendship the U.S and Japan. Some ways that the cherry blossoms strengthened our friendship is the cherry blossoms symbolize friendship. It unites both countries and brings peace, love and honesty. It also means that both countries are always there for each other.

They both share unity and if one country is suffering, the other is always there to help. It’s like a balance bean if a country is falling over the other is there to help no matter what they give each other hands and never let go. A cherry blossom is a little thing that represents a lot between the U.S.A and Japan.

How respecting the similarities and differences between Japanese and American culture increases our knowledge and respect for each other is that we will learn how others behave and by doing that we know how they behave and will tell us how other countries are different and how they are similar. We learn tolerance and by that we can accept our differences.

We might be able to learn about them and they will learn from us. Although we are not the same, we share similarities. Also we are unique which makes life better.

There are many ways the Japanese gift of cherry tree to Washington D.C. and Belleville, NJ, has strengthened the friendship between us. One way that it has strengthened our friendship is that, to us when they gave us the cherry tree that could have been a sign of forgiveness and thankfulness. It was very respectful of them to give us that gift.

I think that it would be very thankful for us to give them something back. For example since they gave us the cherry tree maybe something that means a lot to us could be something we could give to them. That could be a sign of thankfulness. If it were up to me I would give them an American eagle. The eagle is a symbol of our country. It symbolizes freedom.

Respecting the similarities and differences between our culture and the Japanese culture can increase the knowledge and respect of their communities because this would be an example of what they can do with other countries. We should respect our cultures and have some knowledge of different cultures so that we can promote tolerance and respect and not be ignorant.
Another good example of this would be the Japanese and the Japanese Brazilians. Japan is kicking the Japanese Brazilians out of their country because they don’t have the same cultural beliefs as the Japanese. The Japanese should share their culture with the Japanese Brazilians. After all they are Japanese too; this will increase respect and other cultures.

Some ways on how the Japanese gift, the cherry trees made our friendship between the United States and Japan stronger is the meaning of the cherry blossom. They symbolize friendhip and peace. Maybe Japan wants to have peace and friendship with the United States. I remember when America received a panda bear from China. China wanted us to be their friends. Since Japan wants to be our friend we should accept that gift and give them a gift to.

Our symbolic gift that we can give Japan to show them that we would like to have peace with them is the bald eagle. The bald eagle represents the freedom, loyalty, and peace that we have for this country. I think that it will be a great idea to give Japan our most loved animal because it shows how it represents us.
